Jennifer S. Williams graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law, where she received many honors such as the Cali award for outstanding performance in a class and was a National Trial Competition 4 State Regional finalist; Law President's Scholarship recipient; and Orientation Chair Scholarship recipient. She earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and political science, cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh.
Prior to joining the May Law Group, Ms. Williams was an Associate Attorney at several general practice law firms and specialized in arguing and presenting motions before the Court; drafting legal briefs and memoranda; researching legal issues; attending and taking depositions for pending litigation; and representing clients at magistrate hearings, arbitration hearings, and pretrial and settlement conferences.
Ms. Williams served as an Intern to Justice D. Michael Fisher in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, where she drafted and revised case summaries and recommendations on arguments and conducted legal research on issues regarding cases brought for appeal. She also served as an Intern to the Honorable Paul F. Lutty in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, where she attended trials and hearings and reviewed pleadings. She served a Judicial Externship with United States Magistrate Justice Timothy Hogan, where she drafted and revised reports and recommendations on pending cases.
Ms. Williams is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
